PROPERTY OWNERS AND TENANTS

The City of Englewood and most New Jersey cities have laws to ensure resident health, safety, and welfare. This includes fire safety codes, property maintenance coder, and occupancy codes/laws.

For your safety attics and basements may not be occupied by residents. Only bedroom areas may be occupied by 1 or 2 people for sleeping purposes. If these laws are not followed overcrowding occurs threatening people's safety.

The interior and exterior of all residential properties must be maintained in a clean manner, free of debris, litter, and other obstructions including unused vehicles.            

The City of Englewood has noise regulations requiring music, television, and other loud instruments not disturb neighbors and must be shut off in the evening and overnight.

La Ciudad de Englewobd tiene reglamentos acerca del uso de radios o instrumentos musicales los cuales deben permanecer a un volumen bajo durante las horns de la noche.
