The mission of the Englewood Fire Department is public safety, the protection of life and property against all hazards. We are committed to providing this protection in a dedicated, professional manner, exhibiting compassion for all those in need. We accomplish our task through the efficient delivery of fire suppression, emergency medical care, fire & environmental investigation, public education, hazardous material mitigation, and code enforcement/fire prevention services to all of Englewood's residents.  In addition, we will also provide our services to those passing through our city, those citizens in jurisdictions where intra-local agreements have been established, and to those districts to where we have been directed by the duly-authorized local, state and federal entities. We will meet our mission goals through effective and innovative utilization of our personnel, continuous training/education and, where available, state-of-the-art equipment, and technology.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Please note that, effective March 15, 2012, the Englewood Fire Department will no longer accept cash as a payment option.  All fines, penalties, and/or fees must be paid with check or money order.
