Municipal Buildings are closed to the public until further notice. We are still open for business via email and phone calls. 

City Parks have been opened with certain restrictions. Residents are required to adhere to social distancing in the parks. Additionally, the wearing of face coverings is strongly encouraged. Parking lots will be limited to 50% capacity. The City will continue to monitor the on-going changes and data as it becomes available and will exercise its discretion to make additions, amendments, clarifications, exceptions and exclusions.

Please be reminded that you can pay your taxes and parking tickets online. A lock box for taxes and permits has been placed in front of City Hall doors. 

Parking Rules in Effect 

This is a reminder that City of Englewood parking rules were not suspended and remain in effect. Permit and Meter Parking will be enforced.

Good Morning Englewood

"Good Morning Englewood" is a program where the Englewood Fire Department will check daily on the welfare of our Senior Citizens, differently-abled residents, or those residents who may have special needs, but who live alone, with no one to look in on them on a daily basis.  It's our way of providing to our residents, and their families, the peace of mind that comes from knowing that someone is looking out for them 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

The Englewood Fire Department offers this service to all Englewood citizens who meet the criteria as mentioned above.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Every morning, between 8:30a-9:30a, a member of the Fire Department will call the program participant (please note that calls may sometimes be slightly delayed due to emergency responses and volume of residents participating in the program) to check that they are alright.  If no answer, a second call will be made a few minutes later.  If there is no answer on the second call, Fire Department units, to include Emergency Medical Technicians, will be dispatched to the address to check on the welfare of the resident.

HOW DO I GET STARTED?

Before starting the program, a representative from the Fire Department will interview the applicant and/or their authorized representative.  During this interview we will collect medical data and other information which may be valuable in an emergency if the resident were unable to communicate.  Information collected is confidential, in accordance with all applicable regulations, and the participants written authorization.  A link to an application can be found below:
