The State of New Jersey has instituted several rebate programs regarding you and your taxes. There are currently four "relief" programs that are being offered through New Jersey State.

If you were 65 years or older as of December 31st of the pre-tax year you may be eligible for a deduction of $250.00 annually from your gross tax. Please note however that this deduction has an income limitation of $10,000 husband and wife combined. Applications and explanations can be obtained in our office.
If you have served in the armed forces you may be eligible to receive a $250.00 deduction annually from your gross taxes. You may call or visit this office to obtain further information regarding this and any other deductions.
A Tax Sale for unpaid taxes must be completed within one year after the year the charges become delinquent. Tax Sales are scheduled each year by the Tax Collector (usually September) and are advertised in the Press Journal four weeks prior. Tax Sale liens are obtained through a bidding process, however, it does not entitle the successful bidder to rights of the property immediately.
This was a turbulent year. If you forgot to apply for the Senior Freeze property tax reimbursement, don't worry. The deadline has been extended to February 1, 2021. Take advantage of the extra time to get the RELIEF you deserve:
