Please be advised that, per City Ordinance #10-02 adopted on February 16, 2010, the fees for dog licenses have increased as follows:
Dogs not certified as spayed or neutered
(one year license, renewable in January) . . . . . . . . . . . . . $ 12.00
Spayed or neutered dog, as certified by a
licensed veterinarian
(one year license, renewable in January) . . . . . . . . . . . . . $ 8.00
To ensure that all owners have been duly notified and given an opportunity to license without additional expense for the current license year, which is already in progress, the Department of Health is granting an extension for all current license renewals until April 30th, 2010.
ALL NEW DOG LICENSE APPLICATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO THE NEW FEES EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.
ANY DOG LICENSE RENEWAL RECEIVED AFTER APRIL 30TH WILL BE SUBJECT TO THE INCREASED LICENSE FEE IN ADDITION TO THE APPLICABLE LATE FEE.
